淨灘活動
我第一次加的淨灘活動是在斯大黎加舉辦。
我們這組沿著一條步道走了三十分鐘，來到一個叫做Playa Basura的小海灘。
西班牙語Playa Basura的意思就是『垃圾海灘」。
很多垃圾都被沖上那處海灘。
Playa Basura所在地就緊鄰著一個自然保護區。
該處海灘經常看起來像是覆蓋著五彩繽紛的石頭；但那些石頭其實只是一些小塑膠碎片。
大部分的垃圾都是來自其他地區。
垃圾被沖下河流再進入大海；然後，水流再把垃圾帶到Playa Basura。
我們那一組努力撿了大約兩個小時；把一百多個垃圾袋都裝滿了。
淨灘前後的差別真的非常驚人。
不過，由於每年雨季都會再度將更多的垃圾帶到Playa Basura；因此，幸好Playa Basura每年都有舉辦淨灘活動
雖然要直到人們成功阻絕垃圾進入海洋，像Playa Basura這樣海灘的垃圾才會完全消失。
不過，每一次的淨灘活動都仍是有幫助的。
