雖然尼加拉瀑布不是全世界最高的瀑布，但水量卻是最大的；每秒確定有將近三百萬公升的水流向尼加拉瀑布。
該水資源可用於飲用、釣魚、休閒活動、發電等。
美加兩國的發電廠透過運用瀑布水流，能夠產生將近二百五十萬千瓦的電力。

When travel finally resumed last summer, my family took off on an adventure. We drove almost 2,400 kilometers and saw some of America's most stunning sights. Our favorite destination was Niagara Falls with its incredible beauty and power Niagara Falls actually consists of three different waterfalls: Horseshoe Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and American Falls. They flow into the Niagara River, which forms a natural boundary between the United States and Canada.
Though Niagara Falls isn't the world's tallest waterfall, it's thought to have the largest amount of flowing water. It's been determined that close to 3 million liters go over Niagara each second.
The water is used for drinking, fishing, recreational activities, electricity and more. Utilizing the water flow, both Canadian and American power plants produce almost 2.5 million kilowatts of electricity.
Anyone can walk to Niagara Falls and see it for free. In fact, millions of people travel to the world-famous falls annually.
There are several different ways to experience the thundering waters, including on foot, by boat or by air. For a fee, helicopter and airplane tours provide visitors with a bird's eye view of the entire region.
