What do you think about your soap? You probably haven't thought much
about it because most people take soap for granted. Many people use commercial soaps that are made in a factory. Yet a lot of those products can dry out the skin and are just plain boring.
Handmade soap, though, is different. It smells great and often looks good enough to eat! It comes in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, scents and styles. It's also good for your skin.
Those who love dessert might enjoy washing with a pie, cupcake or donut. Soap fruit, including oranges, lemons and more, looks very real. For an ocean theme, unique soaps shaped like shells and mermaid tails can be found. It seems like everything under the sun is available in the form of handmade soap. The soap's appeal means lots of people are buying it. They seem to appreciate the benefits as well as the look. It's reported that sales from handmade soap may reach US$260 million by 2024.
