Snack wisely and stay healthy!
Not all sugars are bad for you. Fresh fruit has natural sugars that your body needs.
But snacks such as candy and chips have added sugars. Your body is very hasty in
digesting that kind of sugar. Then you get
a sugar spike, and shortly after that you
crash. Foods with added sugar also don't
have many nutrients.
You need to eat a variety of foods in
order to stay healthy. So when you want
to eat a snack, be creative!
Here is a simple recipe you can try. All
you need is some Greek yogurt and some
fresh fruit.
1. Cover the bottom of a pan with some parchment paper.
2. Spread some Greek yogurt on the paper.
3. Cut up some fresh fruit. Put it on the yogurt.
4. Put the pan in the freezer until it's totally hard.
5. Take out your frozen treat. Break it into pieces. Then enjoy it with your friends!
