尼加拉大瀑布Visiting Niagara Falls

親臨體驗大自然「雷神之水」的震撼Exploring the roar at one of the world’s great natural wonders

第一晚，我們步行穿越尼加拉瀑布州立公園來到美國瀑布。

早在抵達瀑布前，我們就已能聽見瀑布發出的轟隆聲響。

在那裡，我們欣賞到壯麗不凡的景致——每晚都沉浸在特效燈光以及繽紛色彩中、大量傾瀉而下的瀑布水流。

隔天一大早，我們登上「霧中少女號」，參加尼加拉瀑布歷史最悠久的遊船之旅。

霧中少女帶領我們穿過洶湧澎湃的水域來到美國瀑布，接著再繼續前進抵達美得令人屏息的馬蹄瀑布。

接下來的行程則是「風洞」。

我們站在距離新娘面紗瀑布僅僅六公尺的「颶風平臺」；一個體驗瀑布威力，同時也是把全身弄得溼答答的完美地點！

前往瀑布雖然並不困難，但那些想尋求更多冒險刺激感受的人卻已多方嘗試用非比尋常的方法來欣賞瀑布。

安妮·埃德森·泰勒在一九Ｏ一年坐在木桶裡從瀑布上方滑下，居然毫髮無傷！

尼克·瓦倫達則是在二Ｏ一二年以走鋼索的方式橫越瀑布。

這樣的極端方式並不合法，也沒有必要；誠如我們所發現，有非常多行程都能讓你盡情欣賞這片北美偉大的寶藏—尼加拉大瀑布。

On our first night, we walked through Niagara Falls State Park to American Falls. We could hear the roar of the water long before we reached the falls. There we had tremendous views of the cascading falls that are bathed in special lights and colors each night.

Early the next morning, we boarded Maid of the Mist, Niagara Falls' oldest boat tour. The boat took us through crashing waters to American Falls and on to the breathtaking Horseshoe Falls.

Our next adventure tour was Cave of the Winds. We stood on the Hurricane Deck just six meters from Bridal Veil Falls. It was a perfect place to experience the power of the falls - and to get very wet!

Accessible as the falls are, those looking for a bit more adventure have tried some off-the-wall ways to see them. Annie Edson Taylor rode a barrel over the falls in 1901 and survived! In 2012 Nik Wallenda walked across the falls on a tightrope. Such extreme measures aren't legal or necessary. As we discovered, numerous tours can help you enjoy a great North American treasure - Niagara Falls.

I think it will save me money because I won't buy new clothes each season.
