龍舟精神 擊鼓前進A RACE TO REMEMBER

難以忘懷的一次龍舟賽事An unforgettable dragon boat experience

在我們的首場預賽中，僅僅要抵達賽道起點對我們來說就是一項挑戰。

巨大的水花幾乎要掀翻我們的龍舟；逆流划槳前進更是異常艱難，不過我們仍是奮力越過了終點線，而且出人意料地，晉級到下一輪的比賽！

隨著時間慢慢過去，比賽當天的不幸意外插曲層出不窮；有些龍舟翻覆，有些隊伍則是失去控制然後無法繼續完成比賽。

我們在那天的最後一場出賽，僅以些微的差距順利晉級隔天的準決賽。

我們在準決賽遭遇強勁的競爭對手，其中還包括一支半職業的龍舟隊伍。

遭該隊伍龍舟後方的強勁水流阻礙行進，的確令人感到極度沮喪。

不過，沒有人會在龍舟賽停止划槳的，無論發生任何事！

因此，我持續不斷划槳，盡我最大的努力跟上團隊的速度。

雖然我們落後其他隊伍，但我們並沒有放棄希望。

在最後的衝刺中，腎上腺素爆發卻又精疲力竭的我們堅持到了最後，而且還搶下了參與決賽的一個席次！

雖然我們的成績沒有再更上層樓，不過我們也從未想過能夠擠進前六強；這真是一種不可思議的感覺。

Simply getting to the race's starting point for our first heat was a challenge. The enormous waves threatened to flip us over. Paddling against the current was

tough, but we crossed the finish line and, surprisingly, advanced to the next round!

 As the day proceeded, there was no shortage of mishaps. Boats flipped over and others lost control and weren't able to complete their races. In our final race that day, we narrowly advanced to the following day's semifinals.

 We faced strong competitors in the semifinals, including a semiprofessional team. Being hindered by their boat's waves was highly frustrating. However, in dragon boat racing, no one ever stops paddling, no matter what! So I kept paddling, working my hardest to keep pace with the team. We trailed the other boats, but we didn't lose hope. In the final push, filled with both adrenaline and exhaustion, we persisted and grabbed a spot in the finals!

 Although we didn't advance any further, never did we imagine we'd make it into the top six. What an incredible feeling!
