玩溜溜球對所有人來說都是件有趣的事。
下去又上來；上來又下去。
兩個扁平小捲盤中間綁著一條細繩，朝地板丟出落下；然後再捲上來。
一次又一次，用手部動作控制細繩的轉開和捲起。
不過，大多數人都不會以此而滿足。
他們會想要至少能夠做個「空轉」。
這個基本招式是讓溜溜球在繩子的末端空轉。
你一旦學會這個招式，就可以接著學「遛狗」。
這都還只是開始而已喔！
國際溜溜球協會在世界各地提倡玩溜溜球，而且每年都會舉行比賽。
世界溜溜球大賽每年在歐、亞及美洲之間輪流舉行。
二○二一年，在各國鎖國封城的情況下，參賽者拍下自己表演溜溜球花招的影片，然後再寄去評比。
一個來自南韓的男孩最後勝出。

It's fun for all to play with a yo-yo. Down and up. Up and down. The two small flattened spools with a string in the center drop toward the floor. The yo-yo then
spins back up. Time after time, a movement of your hand unwinds and rewinds the string. But most people don't stop there. They want to at least throw a "sleeper." This fundamental trick means the yo-yo spins at the end of the string.
Once you learn to do that trick, you can learn to "walk the dog." And that is just
the beginning!
The International Yo-Yo Federation promotes yo-yoing around the world and holds a contest every year. The World Yo-Yo Contest moves between Europe, Asia and the Americas each year. In 2021, when the world was shut down, the competitors filmed
themselves performing yo-yo tricks. They then sent them in to be judged. A boy from South Korea won.
