TRAVEL VLOGGERS

Exploring the world and sharing their discoveries

So if you want to become a travel vlogger, how do you do it? What many people recommend is starting close to home with local sites. You don't have to go around the world to begin travel vlogging. There may be sites in your hometown that you haven't seen or that others might be interested in.

You also have to be patient as you begin building your following since it will take time for people to find your channel. Make sure your profile on the platform you use to share your videos is compelling and free of errors.

As your audience grows, you may have opportunities to network with other travel vloggers and maybe even to do videos with them. This will help both you and the other vloggers as those viewing their vlogs are introduced to you and vice versa

As for the videos themselves, they should typically be no longer than 10 minutes in length. And make sure you have a decent microphone because if viewers can't hear you clearly, they won'twant to watch your videos.

Travel vlogs allow you to see the world from the comfort of your own home, which means that new experiences are right at your fingertips.

close to home

to hit close to home

If something hits close to home, that means it causes somebody to have negative emotions about something because it reminds them of something or maybe they experience a similar situation.

Or perhaps if there's a viewer out there who had some family or friends who were affected, maybe even killed by a tornado, my saying that would hit really close to home.

If you are saying something that is compelling, that means it makes people really interested to believe or to act upon what they heard.

I think we could say that something was not longer when we're talking about a specific time or a specific experience. and we weren’t sure or we can’t remember the time. but you might say, “Oh, it was not longer than an hour.”
