Getting on the show
If you want to be on the brothers' show, requirements include a renovation/design budget of US$70,000 or more. You can't live in the house for the six to eight weeks it takes to finish the project. Within that time period, you also have to be available for eight separate days of filming. If you meet these requirements, you can fill out the long application form. You'll need to answer questions about your home and your relationship with your spouse or family. Finally, you'll need to explain why you need Drew and Jonathan's help and deserve to be on the show.
Behind the scenes
If you do land a spot on the show, what's it really like behind the scenes? It takes a lot of people to alter a house, so the brothers hire local workers. They don't
do much of the actual work on the houses themselves because of their busy
