如果你二O二二年的目標是更加幸福快樂，哈佛科學家宣稱已經發現了關鍵：良好關係。
羅伯特沃丁格博士是「哈佛成人發展研究」的現任主任，那是一項從一九三八年開始持續進行的研究。
根據沃丁格的說法：「良好的關係能讓我們更幸福、更健康。」從另一方面來看，把自己孤立起來的人，相較下人生便沒有那麼圓滿；研究發現，這些人往往活得比較短、比較痛苦。
換句話說，擁有愈正向的人際關係，我們的生活就會愈幸福。
另一個擁有幸福人生的關鍵就是，關注他人。
有句中文諺語說；「如果你想幸福一小時，就打個盹；如果你想幸福一生，就幫助別人。」你可以問問自己下面幾個問題，幫助自己將焦點轉移到他人身上：「我今年能在哪些地方義務貢獻我的時間、才華以及資源? 二Ｏ二二年我可以幫助哪些人？我要怎麼開始經常鼓勵周遭的人？」每個新年都是新的開始！
就讓我們帶著希望以及為他人的著想展開這一年吧。
If your goal is to be happier in 2022, Harvard scientists claim to have discovered the key: relationships. Dr. Robert Waldinger is the current director of the Harvard Study of Adult Development, an ongoing study that began in 1938. According to Waldinger, "Good relationships keep us happier and healthier." People who isolate themselves. on the other hand, don't do as well. The study found that those people tend to live shorter, more miserable lives. In other words, the more positive relationships we have, the happier our lives will be.
Another key to leading a happy life is to focus on others. A Chinese proverb states: "If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap. If you want happiness for a lifetime, help someone else."
Here are a few questions you can ask yourself to help you shift your focus to others: This years, where can I volunteer my time, talents and resources? Who can I help in 2022? How can I begin encouraging those around me on a regular basis?
Each new year is a new beginning! Let's approach this one with hope and thoughts of others.
