No matter the country, many New Year's Day celebrations include a wish for prosperity.
Europe – Poland
A hayride into a forest followed by a bonfire is a common celebration here. Sausages and stew are eaten along with bread shaped into rabbits, sheep, geese and cows. These foods represent wealth and good luck for the coming year.
Africa - Sierra Leone
At midnight, people crowd into the streets where they set off firecrackers. They also hit pots and make lots of noise and sing. Most call relatives and friends shortly after midnight to wish them a Happy New Year. They also celebrate with a big meal at noon.
Australia
Australians use whistles, rattles and church bells along with fireworks to ring in the New Year. They typically camp on one of Australia's many beaches and barbecue. Outdoor activities like rodeos and fairs are also great fun.

rattle off 很快速地講出一連串事情
Whoa... Andrea, you just keep rattling off things that you want to do.
I guess I am just rattling off a lot of plans, but that's because I'm excited about the New Year!
We can see that.
Well, I'm excited about looking at the phrasal verb "to rattle off" or "to rattle off something."
Now when you rattle off, you say something quickly.
For example, my daughter could rattle off the names of all her new classmates after just a day at her new school.
Or you can say Simon can rattle off the titles of all the movies that his favorite actor Will Smith has been in.
Now we also see this word "rattle" in the phrases "rattle on" or "rattle away."
When someone rattles on about a topic, they are talking for a lengthy amount of time, but are not really saying anything important.
You can say Sarah rattled on with her friends late into the evening.
Or the speaker rattled away with a story that wasn't even part of his speech topic.
So I guess we rattled off examples and ways that you can use this phrase along with "rattle on" or "rattle away."
Simon can rattle off the titles of all of Will Smith’s movies.

fireworks
win vs. earn
outdoors
privately owned
Fireworks are so big in the United States on Independence Day.
They really are.
And someone in the community put on their own fireworks show.
I think they had to get permission from the fire department and, um, I don't know who else.
But the fireworks display they put on, it was really beautiful.
So it was a privately-owned fireworks show.
It was.
That's pretty cool.
What about you?
What are the best fireworks you've ever seen?
Well, Disneyland.
They... put on some amazina fireworks,
And also, just... you know, I was in Sydney one year over the New Year's for my sister's wedding, actually.
And we got to see the fireworks.
And it was summertime there, of course, because it's Down Under(在澳大利亞(或紐西蘭);到澳大利亞(或紐西蘭)).
