抗癌歌手──「夜鶯」NIGHTBIRDE

但，即使是一個充滿痛苦、年輕早逝的生命其實也能產生巨大影響力。
珍˙馬爾澤夫基斯，或是她更為人所熟知的藝名「夜鶯」，的故事清楚表明了這一點。
夜鶯在二○二一年電視節目《美國達人秀》演唱後，一舉成名。
她唱了自己創作的歌曲《It’s Okay》，兩天後這首歌成為iTunes的熱門歌曲。
夜鶯在二○一七年診斷出罹患癌症，並且知道自己只剩六個月可以活。
儘管困難重重，她在第二年抗癌成功；但幾個月之後又發現癌症復發。
她也從第二次癌症復發中倖存下來，繼而在二○二○年七月進入疾病緩解期。

When we think of influential people, we think primarily of their successes, perhaps envying their lives. But even a life filled with suffering and cut short at a young age can have a tremendous influence. The story of Jane Marczewski, better known by her stage name Nightbirde, demonstrates this clearly.
Nightbirde became famous after singing on the TV show America's Got Talent in
2021. She performed "It's OK," a song she wrote herself, and two days later, this song became the top song on iTunes.
Nightbirde was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 and told she had six months to live. Against all odds, she was declared cancer-free the following year, only to find out a few months later that the cancer was back. She survived this second bout of cancer as well, going into remission in July 2020. But when she sang on America's Got Talent, she explained that the cancer had returned
and spread throughout her body. In spite of her initial success, she became so sick that she had to drop out of the competition. She died in February 2022, at the age of 31.
