露西和彼得本身都有在運動，而且很喜歡觀賞運動賽事。

此外，彼得還很喜歡打電動以及觀看電視轉播電玩競賽。
彼得覺得電競應該被視為「真正的」運動，反觀露西則沒那麼肯定

彼得：嘿，今年夏季奧運就包含了虛擬系列賽事。
有五項虛擬運動獲得納入賽程，帆船運動就是其中一項。
露西：我知道。
可是在螢幕上駕駛帆船並不是真正的帆船運動。
真正的運動員會認真訓練，然後因其身體力度之種種展現而受到讀賞；他們所獲得的榮譽是對自身能力的一種認可。
彼得：那我了解；我也知道在像是DOTA2這種電玩裡，玩家根本沒有真的在跑步。
可是只因為不一樣，並不表示這些玩家不是運動員。
Lucy and Peter play sports and enjoy watching sports competitions.
They followed the Olympics last July and have been watching the Winter Universiade

Real athletes train hard and are admired for their physical performances.
The honor they receive is an acknowledgment of their abilities.
I appreciate that.
I know in video games like DOTA 2 that there is no physical running.
But just because it's different doesn't mean those players aren't athletes.
