世界捐血者日World Blood Donor Day

捐血，讓世界繼續跳動！Give blood and keep the world beating!

捐血步驟為何？

首先，要回答一些關於個人病史、健康狀況、用藥情形、近期旅遊史、生活方式等問題，並做個簡短的身體檢查。

接著，如果資格符合，就會坐到一張特別的椅子上準備進行捐血。

專業醫療人員會先清潔消毒你手臂上的一小塊區域，並將針頭扎入靜脈。

捐血過程大約需要十分鐘。

隨後，移除針頭，再以繃帶包紮扎針處。

最後，休息十五分鐘，並享用為你預備好的點心。

整個程序走完大概要六十分鐘。

如何做好準備？

找個朋友——一起捐血會更有趣！

然後，上網查詢資料並預約；此外，還得記得： 

✽ 睡一個好覺。

✽ 多補充水分。

✽ 避免酒精飲料、高脂食物、咖啡因、乳製品以及阿司匹靈。

What will happen when I go donate?

First, you'll answer some questions about your medical history, health, medications, recent travel and lifestyle and have a brief medical exam. Then, if you're eligible, you'll sit in a special chair to donate.

A medical professional will clean a small area on your arm and insert a needle into

your vein. It takes about 10 minutes to complete the process. Then the needle is

removed, and the site is bandaged. Finally, you'll rest for 15 minutes while enjoying

the snacks provided. The entire procedure takes about 60 minutes.

How should I get ready to donate?

Find a friend - donating together is more fun! Then search online and book appointments. You'll also want to:

●Get a good night's sleep.

●Drink extra water.

●Avoid alcohol, fatty foods, caffeine, dairy and aspirin.

This is so important! What else can I do?

You can raise awareness of how crucial blood donation is. You can arouse others'

interest and encourage them to donate by talking about your experience and by

sharing information about local donation events on social media.
