明天6/14是「世界捐血者日」！
世界各地政府單位及機構組織都將舉行相關活動來表彰捐血者並且鼓勵更多人捲起袖子去捐血。
下面是關於捐血的一些常見問題。
有什麼了不起？
民眾捐贈的血用途非常大！
這些血能用於手術需要、醫學研究以及車禍等緊急事件；此外，還能用於治療癌症、血液相關疾病以及許多
其他醫療情況。
單次捐血就可以拯救多達三條人命！
我們的世界需要更多人響應捐血；因為光是在美國，每兩秒鐘就有人需要輸血。
然而，血液無法製造；因此，完全沒有任何東西可以取代人血！
捐血是否安全？
非常安全。
每一位捐血者所使用的都是全新無菌器材。
一般人體內約有四點五到五點五公升的血液，而一般捐血量為五百毫升。
所以，不用擔心，捐出的血不過是人體百分之十的量而已！
只要捐血後放輕鬆並且多補充水分，第二天就能恢復正常。
捐血是否會痛？
不會。
扎針時，可能會感到輕微刺痛，不過一下子就會消失了。

What's the big deal?
Donated blood does so much good! It's used in surgeries, medical research and emergencies like car accidents. It's also used in the treatment of cancer, blood disorders and many other medical situations. A single blood donation can save up to three lives! There's a great need for more blood donations. Just in the U.S. alone, someone needs blood every two seconds. But blood cannot be manufactured; there's literally no substitute for real human blood!
Is it safe?
Very safe. New, sterile equipment is used with every donor. The average person has 4.5 to 5.5 liters of blood, and a typical donation is 500 milliliters. So don't worry; that's only about 10 percent of your blood!
If you take it easy afterward and drink some extra fluids, you'll be back to normal
by the next day.
Does it hurt?
Not really. When the needle is inserted, you might feel a slight prick, but it's over in a second.
