大煙山國家公園GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK

藍煙之地：美東最後一片原始淨土

Adventure awaits in America's most visited national park

公園裡有很多冒險機會，不過其中有些的確更為驚險一點；一個讓我們大為驚嘆的活動行程就是在大煙山的某條大河泛舟。

太刺激了！

另外一些我們參加的活動中較為平靜的就是在清澈的溪流釣魚，還有在園區一百五十條正式健行步道中擇幾處健行。

此外，遊客還可以觀賞螢火蟲同步點亮夜空之奇景，或在星空下露營。

只要是說得出來的，都可以在大煙山體驗到。

我們也有幸一見大煙山國家公園的象徵——黑熊。

由於園中大約棲息了一千五百頭黑熊，因此要看到牠們並不算太難。

不過，我們完全聽從公園處的警告：「小心熊出沒！」都有與之保持安全距離。

雖然大煙山的每一個季節都展現出壯闊美景，然而秋天或許仍是大家的最愛。

世界各地的遊客紛紛前來親眼一睹園區樹木驕傲展現出的鮮豔紅色、橙色和黃色。

大煙山是美國國寶，其絕美程度無法以言語描述。

There is ample opportunity for adventures in the park, some of which are more hair-raising than others. One that took our breath away was going whitewater rafting on one of the Smoky Mountains' mighty rivers. It was thrilling!

Some calmer activities we participated in were fishing in crystal-clear streams

and hiking several of park's 150 official hiking trails. Visitors can also watch synchronous fireflies light up the night sky, or camp under the stars. 

You name it, you can experience it in the Smoky Mountains.

We were also rewarded with a sighting of the symbol of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the black bear. With around 1,500 residing in the park, it's not unusual to spot one. But we definitely followed the park's warning: "Beware of bears!" We kept our distance. While every season in the Smokies offers a spectacular display of beauty, fall is perhaps everyone's favorite. People come from far and wide to witness the bright reds, oranges and yellows proudly displayed by the park’s trees.

The smokies are a national treasure with a level of beauty that practically defies description.

kayaking皮艇
