溫克沃斯雙胞胎 THE WINKLEVOSS TWINS

 聽說過卡麥隆和泰勒‧溫克沃斯嗎？These brothers are making a comeback

可能你有所聽聞，因為這對雙胞胎多年來已逐漸打開了知名度。

他們倆從教育界和體育界一直到商業圈及金融業等各種領域都闖出了名號。

不過，如果你對他們仍不太熟悉，不用擔心——你現在就可以趕上進度。

溫克沃斯兄弟都就讀哈佛大學，還一起參加二○○八年奧運男子雙人賽艇的比賽。

雖然奧運經歷和哈佛文憑相當引人注目，但實際上這對兄弟更為人所知的是他們和臉書的過往。

多數人都無法宣稱自己的故事曾被拍成電影而且還獲得最佳影片提名，但這對雙胞胎卻可以。

二○一○年，《社群網戰》這部電影講述了臉書創立的故事； 該片描述溫克沃斯兄弟在臉書的起源上扮演了舉足輕重的角色。

這對雙胞胎在與後來成為臉書創辦人的馬克‧祖克柏一起上大學時，曾請他協助完成一個專案； 原來這對兄弟早就有了社交網絡的想法。

have you ever heard of them? You may have since these twins have been making a name for themselves for years. They have made their mark in various sectors from education and sports to business and finance. But don't worry if you aren't familiar with them - you can catch up with them now.

The brothers attended Harvard University and also competed together in the 2008 Olympics in men's pair rowing.

And while an Olympic experience and Harvard diplomas are notable, the brothers are actually better-known for their history with Facebook.

Most people can't claim to have been portrayed in a film nominated for best picture, but the Winklevoss twins can. Back in 2010, the film The Social Network told how Facebook got its start.

The movie shows that the two brothers played a pivotal role in Facebook's origins. Having attended university with the soon-to-be founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, the twins requested his help with a project. It turns out they had an idea for a social network.
