──瑪麗‧麥特琳 前景大好的明星凱莉‧霍特爾在最近的電影作品中成功擄獲怪物的心；如果她也同樣迷倒觀眾，有什麼好讓人驚訝的嗎？

年僅十歲的凱莉出生於美國喬治亞州亞特蘭大，父母都是聾啞人士。

她在四歲左右便藉由一支二○一六年的廣告，展開演藝生涯；隔年，則出現在另外一個稱為「母親節」的廣告中。

二○一八年，凱莉在「十個聾童：一個強有力的信息」中露臉。

凱莉的首次長片演出機會，則是在製片艾利克斯‧加西亞決定由她在《哥吉拉大戰金剛》中與金剛演出對手戲時

來臨；凱莉在電影中的角色是一個名叫吉雅的孤兒，似乎與金剛有著非常強大的連結。

The up-and-coming star Kaylee Hottle captured the heart of a monster in her recent film. Is it any wonder that she did the same to the audience as well?

 Ten-year-old Kaylee was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to deaf parents. In fact, everyone on her father's side of the family, going back four generations, is deaf. Kaylee was also born without the ability to hear, but that hasn't stopped her from persevering in the pursuit of her dreams.

 All her communication is done using American Sign Language (ASL), and her fluency in ASL has helped her land several acting roles. Kaylee began her acting career around the age of 4 in a 2016 commercial, and the following year she appeared in another commercial called "Mother's Day."

 In 2018 Kaylee appeared in 10 Deaf Children: One Powerful Message. The brief video effectively articulates the importance of fighting for equality for those who can't hear. Her break into full-length films came when producer Alex Garcia chose Kaylee to play opposite King Kong in Godzilla vs. Kong. In the film Kaylee plays Jia, an orphan who seems to have a strong bond with Kong.

I think what she is saying here is when people think of deafness, they think of it as a handicap because that is what they believe, that is the way they are choosing to look at it
