休閒漁業:不一樣的漁村風情The Joy of Fishing

探索永續休閒漁業 享受多樣樂趣滿點 Exploring all that recreational fisheries have to offer

清澈湛藍的海水、清新的海風以及趣味十足的活動；聽起來吸引人嗎？

如果吸引人的話,那麼你可以啟程前往一處休閒漁業景點了。

在那裡,你能恣意享受垂釣之樂及其相關文化活動。

臺灣擁有超過一萬六千公里海岸線、兩百二十個漁港以及六百五十座漁村社區;行政院農委會漁業署及國立臺灣海洋大學由此規劃出十六條旅遊路線,每一條都是值得一遊的有趣景點。

漁業署透過該項旅遊規劃,旨在幫助民眾深入了解並更加享受休閒漁業據點；繼而亦可望能有助於振興活絡臺灣鄉村地區經濟,並確保漁業資源之永續經營管理。

那麼,民眾在休間漁業景點可以從事什麼活動呢？

可以參與漁村文化慶典,例如,屏東黑鮪魚觀光文化季或是彌陀虱目魚文化節,可以體驗臺灣傳統漁法-牽罟；或是搭乘娛樂漁業漁船進行海釣活動或參加賞鯨之旅。

還有漁村導覽以及養殖魚塭之相關體驗活動。

當然,你一定不能錯過在地鮮美水產的好滋味。

Clear blue water, a fresh ocean breeze and a fun activity. Does that sound appealing? If so, it's time to hit the road and visit a recreational fishery. There, you can enjoy the sport and culture of fishing. Taiwan has over 16,000 kilometers of coastline, 220 fishing ports and 650 fishing villages. From these places, the Fisheries Agency and National Taiwan Ocean University have created 16 tourist itineraries, all of which represent fun destinations that anyone can enjoy.

Through their tourism plan, the Fisheries Agency aims to help people better understand and enjoy recreational fishing facilities. In turn, this will hopefully help revive Taiwan's rural areas and ensure the sustainable management of fishery resources.

What can you do at a recreational fishery? You can enjoy cultural events, such as the Pingtung Bluefin Tuna Festival or the Mituo Milkfish Cultural Festival. You can try Taiwanese Beach Seine, a traditional fishing method. Or head out in a recreational fishing boat for some sea fishing or whale watching. There are guided tours of fishing villages and activities related to aquaculture farming. And of course, you must try the delicious local seafood.

It involves a lot more people than just one fisherman with a fishing rod.

There are a lot of people with a net with this traditional beach seine method.

I had no idea. I often think of deep-sea fishing as well, which is when you're out on an ocean, and you're catching not just little fish, but hopefully catching some pretty big fish like this mahi-mahi.

And, of course, you must try the delicious local seafood.

That's easy, going to the hot springs.

How often do you go?

Every other weekend during winter.

It's relaxing and therapeutic, and there are many hot spring hotels within an hour's drive of the city.

I've never been to the hot springs here.
