放暑假囉！IT'S TIME FOR SUMMER VACATION

放假應該休養生息，還是持續豐富人生？Is it better to relax or be active during your break?

湯瑪斯和史黛西即將結束碩士班第一年的課程。

他們在唸書之餘稍作休息，開始分享起彼此的暑假計畫；湯瑪斯等不及要出城，反觀史黛西則期盼能在家好好休息放鬆。

湯瑪斯：明天一考完試，我就要閃人了！

史黛西：你馬上就要出城嗎？

湯瑪斯：對啊。我和一些朋友要去露營和健行。

史黛西：特別是在考完期末考之後，你不想先休息一下嗎？

湯瑪斯：才不用！我已經準備好要走出戶外，好好享受夏天了！

史黛西：喔，我在這一連串的考試結束後，想要好好睡個長長的覺。

湯瑪斯：那麼，除了休息之外，妳還打算要做什麼？

史黛西：我就是打算過得鬆一點；我們整個學期都那麼認真念書了。

湯瑪斯：我不知道自己有沒有辦法單純悠哉度日；我想要盡可能保持活躍！

史黛西：我沒計畫要做什麼事。一旦我們畢業後開始工作，就沒有這種奢侈的時間了。

湯瑪斯：同樣地，也不會有時間想做多少活動就做多少活動喔。

史黛西：是沒錯。不過，我比較想用睡到自然醒、跟朋友聚聚還有看書來充電。

Thomas and Stacey are finishing the first year of their master's degree program.

They take a break from studying and start sharing about their summer plans.

Thomas can't wait to get out of town while Stacey is looking forward to relaxing at home.

After I finish tomorrow's exam, I'm out of here! You're leaving town right away?

So, aside from resting, what else are you going to do? I'm just planning to take it easy.
