TED Talks offer many benefits, in particular introducing listeners to new ideas. Many TED Talk speakers explain their own discoveries, often incorporating research done by others. The TED Foundation performs a rigorous check of the qualifications of its speakers to ensure the quality of the talks before giving them a platform. In addition, the organization exhibits no bias politically and tries to post talks that contribute to constructive conversations on all matters.
TED speakers come from all over the world, so their talks often address conditions and events in their native lands. Thus, talks can inform people of what is on outside the borders of their own countries.
So these talks can give insights that can only be gained from hearing from people
of different backgrounds. Furthermore, many TED talks offer practical advice or help people develop skills. For example, two of the most popular TED talks are titled "10 Ways to Have a Better Conversation" and "How Great Leaders Inspire Action." No matter what a person's job title says, holding conversations and motivating others are essential skills.
TED Talks provide people with new information and help them develop their skills in almost every area conceivable.

It's fascinating to me to see and learn how the universe is put together.
I love when scientific experts share what they’ve discovered in their field.
Some of my favorite TED Talks are about astronomy to learn how God put together the complicated world of outer space and how that actually affects the little, tiny planet that we live on. It really makes me thank God for everything that has been created. And it's fascinating as we learn more about black holes and dark matter. So I love listening to Ted Talks that help me understand more. And so are you! You are very special.
So be inspired and be encouraged and be yourself!
And listen to TED Talks.
I like TED Talks that are talking about technology or psychology.
I like technology TED Talks because they can take something very complex but use a storytelling style of explaining it so it's easy for me to understand.
And I also really like the psychology TED Talks, TED Talks like how to have a better conversation or how to increase your emotional intelligence.
I feel like the people who share those TED Talks give some really great insights. And I always walk away with some good information that I can immediately start using to improve myself and my relationships with others.
TED Talks are really useful.
