波蘭舊都：克拉科夫HISTORIC KRAKOW

蘊含豐富文化寶藏的波蘭克拉科夫市每年都吸引了數百萬名遊客；尤其對愛好

藝術、建築、歷史的人更是極具吸引力。

克拉科夫舊城區坐落著中央集市廣場；在這裡，遊客能充分感受到歐洲最大中世紀廣場的奇觀。

鼎盛時期，中央集市廣場是人們為交易商品而聚集的地方。

現在，民眾來到中央集市廣場則是因為這裡有著各式各樣的餐廳、咖啡館以及紀念品商店。

中央集市廣場是聯合國教科文組織世界遺產地，曾經是一處風評極佳的、高品質紡織品及香料貿易中心。

中央集市廣場中央矗立著紡織會館，是克拉科夫最知名的象徵地標之一。

壯麗的紡織會館裡仍然可見大批參觀民眾。

不過，現在的遊客都是為了購買珠寶和紀念品以及欣賞藝術品而來到此地。

每一天的整點時分，聖母聖殿的小號聲音都會響徹整個中央集市廣場。

這座十四世紀教堂的外觀令人讚嘆，而更美的是聖殿內部藍色和金色的裝飾。

天花板上的畫更是讓人嘆為觀止。

The culturally rich city of Krakow, Poland, attracts millions of visitors every year. It appeals especially to art fans, architecture admirers and history lovers. Within the Old Town area of Krakow lies Market Square. There, visitors are greeted by the wonder of Europe's largest medieval plaza. In its heyday, Market Square was a place people gathered to trade their goods. Now people visit Market Square for its wide

selection of restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops.

This UNESCO World Heritage site once served as a respectable trading center for high quality fabric as well as spices. In the middle of Market Square stands the Cloth Hall, one of Krakow's most well-known symbols. Large crowds can still be found in the glorious Cloth Hall. But today's visitors go there to shop for jewelry and souvenirs and to see works of art.

Every hour of every day, a trumpet call sounds throughout Market Square from St. Mary's Basilica. 

The 14th-century church looks impressive on the outside, but its interior is the real treat with its blue and gold decoration. The ceiling paintings are especially breathtaking.
