維修咖啡館

現在，世界各地約有兩千家維修咖啡館，通常每個月會舉辦一次面對面的交流活動。

每次活動約莫會有二十五件物品獲得修復。

雖然所有物件技術都是免費，不過自發性的捐獻當然非常受到歡迎。

維修咖啡館不僅提供修繕協助，還加強了社區連結。

左鄰右舍一起合作修東西時，會漸漸熟稔起來。

此外，寶貴的知識也會因而傳承及保留下來。

物品修了再用而非用過即丟，意味著垃圾掩埋場裡的垃圾量將會愈漸減少。

如果平均損壞物的重量為一公斤，那麼據估計，兩千家維修咖啡館每一個月就能減少三萬五千公斤的垃圾；加總起來就是每年約四十二萬公斤的垃圾量!

李青是加州帕薩迪納維修咖啡館的籌辦人，同時也協助臺灣臺南一家維修咖啡館的創建。

她在訪談中描述自己看著人們真心想要互相幫助的畫面，內心真的激動不已。

她常聽到訪客說：「這就是我嚮往生活的世界!」李小姐替維修咖啡館之使命所下的最佳總結如下：「每一個人都是給予者以及受益人。」
