It is N*Gen's creativity that has made the popular science show so successful.
Two additional aspects of the show have been praised as well. N*Gen is filmed entirely in Africa in a Kampala studio and on location. They've traveled to places such as Lake Victoria to learn about the wetlands and a chocolate factory to make chocolate. Nearly every 35-minute lesson deals with Africa-related topics. The second distinction is that it prominently features African women in science. Almost all of the teachers and scientists who appear on the show are female.
