探索馬祖EXPLORING MATSU

馬祖珍寶值得親臨探究

耳聞「馬祖列島」已經好多年了；但是，我從來不知道那裡的文化及遺產是那麼豐富，一直到我有幸親臨探索那些島嶼。

我的馬祖之旅從基隆港出發。

我和朋友一行人登上夜船，航向馬祖列島最北端的東引島。

我們在船上私人艙房睡了八個小時，也就是我們橫越臺灣海峽所花的時間。

隔天清晨，我們起了個大早因此得以飽覽海上壯麗的日出；那是我們這個行程中會見到的許多美景中的第一個。

我們上午八、九點左右在東引島靠岸，接著便展開環島之旅。

我們的第一站是歷史悠久的「東湧燈塔」。

這座擁有一百一十八年歷史的燈塔是由英國工程師在十九世紀末所建造。

燈塔於一九○四年完工，因其為該島最著名的地標遂成為了東引的標誌。

白色燈塔映襯著湛藍海水，景色壯麗不凡；很多人都認為那是拍攝上傳IG照片的完美場景。

I had heard about the Matsu Islands for years. But I never realized how much rich culture and heritage were there until I had the privilege of exploring the islands myself.

My trip to Matsu started at Keelung Harbor. My friends and I boarded an overnight ship to Dongyin Island, the northernmost of the Matsu Islands. On the ship, we had private cabins in which we slept for the eight hours it took to cross the Taiwan Strait. The next morning we woke early and were treated to a spectacular sunrise over the ocean. It was the first of many beautiful sights we would see on our trip. We docked at Dongyin Island about mid-morning and headed out on an island tour. Our first stop was the historic Dongyong Lighthouse. The 118-year-old lighthouse was built by British engineers in the late 19th century. Finished in 1904, the lighthouse has become an icon of Dongyin as it is the island's most well-known landmark. The white lighthouse against the blue ocean was a magnificent sight. Many people consider it a perfect setting for taking some photos for Instagram.
