For the ultimate winter experience, travel to enchanting Lapland, Finland. When

you're there, expect to see wild reindeer, go on sleigh rides, and see the incredible northern lights! Reindeer walk freely around on the snow that covers Lapland. If you can believe it, there are more reindeer that live in Lapland than people! So you are sure to see wild reindeer out and about when you are traveling in this region.

Don't disturb these wild animals, though, even if you're curious about them. Instead, visit a reindeer farm to learn more about these gentle creatures. And don't miss the chance to go on a reindeer sleigh ride while you're there!

It is possible to see the famous northern lights in many places around the world. However, your chances of viewing this spectacular light show, caused by solar winds, are far better in Lapland. The magnificent display makes its appearance 200 nights out of the year. On a clear winter's night, bundle up and head outside with your camera for this visual treat!
