未來概念：太空版農場Growing Food in Space Pods

太空很危險；幾乎達到難以想像之地步。

不過，人類的創新科技從數十年前起，就已經成功送太空人前往探索這個極為致命的環境。

在太空站的保護下，太空人擁有足夠的空氣、食物以及飲用水，能夠安全完成為時一年或基至更長的任務；因為國際太空站可以長達數個月不必進行補給。

不過，進一步往太空深處探索則是完全不一樣的事；在月球上建立基地或者是把太空人送上火星，似乎都已即將實現。

只不過，前提是必須發展出創新而且萬無一失的方法，能夠供應人足夠的空氣、水和食物。

一家名為「星際實驗室」的公司認為他們已經創造出一個能夠解決食物問題的系統。

他們已成功開發一套先進的封閉循環系統，能夠在任何地方種植植物，基至連太空也不例外。

「星際實驗室」把這種由AI人工智慧管理的溫室稱為BioPod生態種植艙，其特殊設計相當有效率。

實際上，「星際實驗室」聲稱BioPod能讓生產食物所需的土地和水減少百分之九十九。

這並不是一句不可能實現的大話；BioPod不使用任何土壤種植植物，而且絕大多數的水都會重新回收利用以及再循環。

Establishing a base on the moon or sending humans to Mars seems just on the horizon. That can only happen if innovative and foolproof ways are developed to supply humans with enough air, water and food.

One company, Interstellar Labs, believes they have created a system that can solve the food problem. They have developed an advanced, closed loop system that can grow plants anywhere, even in space. They call their artificial intelligence (Al) managed greenhouses BioPods, and they are designed to be very efficient. In fact, Interstellar Labs claims that BioPods reduce the amount of land and water needed to produce food by 99 percent. That is not an impossible claim. BioPods don't use any soil to grow plants, and the vast majority of water is recycled and recirculated.

I think a couple of different people have done covers of this song: How to Grow a Woman from the Ground.

It's kind of a humorous song because it's talking about someone who is just used to working with other things and doesn't really know how to have a relationship with somebody.

And so it's kind of this idea he's trying to grow this person to be someone that he likes.

But, yes, that's a humorous take, using the word "grow" in a humorous way.

However, we would talk about raising people and growing plants. So remember, you grow your plants, you raise your pets and your children.

That's right, with the least amount of wasted time and money and energy because we could often do something but then kind of waste a little bit of time here and there, or maybe we will waste some money here and there. That's not being very efficient.

You wanna (want to) do something in the best way without wasting any of your resources. I like to think to myself sometimes when I'm doing a job or working on a project: Is this the most efficient way to get this done? Sometimes I have to adjust to make sure that I am doing it in an efficient way.

This company claims this, or that website claims that. That means that according to that website or according to that company, and then they share a fact, but maybe it's not completely true.

Well, we do read here that this is not an impossible claim. So we're seeing that it is possible. BioPods don't use any soil to grow plants, and the vast majority of water is recycled and recirculated.
