五十八歲的查爾斯穿越

草坪時腳步稍為踉蹌了一下，那時他正在戶外野餐。

查爾斯不認為有什麼大不了，但娜塔莉覺得茲事體大。

身為護士，她問查爾斯是否有高血壓。

查爾斯不清楚，之後更忘了此事。

那天晚上查爾斯中風了。

由於他太太打了一一九，火速將查爾斯送到醫院，所以保住了一命。

他腦中有高血壓相關問題而導致的出血。

在幾個月物理治療及血壓藥物治療之後，他回到了工作崗位。

如果沒有迅速的行動，這個的故事或許就會以不同的方式結束。

雖然我們可能會認為中風是老年人的疾病，但事實卻未必如此。

三十歲的布魯克在幫寶寶換尿布時，左手臂出現疼痛感。

她以為是因為抱起寶寶的緣故。

另外，她還有劇烈頭痛的狀況。

她母親來訪時剛好注意到布魯克講話含糊不清，而且臉部似乎有低垂的現象，因此馬上打了一一九。

在醫院，醫生從布魯克的頸部取出一個血塊，而那就是導致她中風的原因。

Charles, aged 58, was at a picnic when he stumbled a little while walking across the lawn. He didn't think much of it, but Natalie did. A nurse, she asked Charles if he had high blood pressure. Charles didn't know and forgot about it. That night he had a stroke. Because his wife dialed 911, and he was rushed to the hospital, his life was saved. He had bleeding in his brain related to high blood pressure.

After several months of physical therapy and blood pressure medication, he returned to his job. Without quick action, this story may have ended differently.

 While we may think of stroke as an old person's disease, that is not necessarily the case. Thirty-year-old Brooke felt pain in her left arm while changing her baby's diaper. She thought it was from lifting her baby. She also was experiencing intense headaches. Her mom, who was visiting, noticed Brooke was mumbling, and her face seemed to be hanging down, so she called 911 immediately. At the hospital, the doctors removed a blood clot from her neck, the cause of her stroke.

Headaches are usually ... they last a lot shorter than migraines, and the symptoms are also a little bit different.
